At last, there's finally a way to spiralize vegetables and fruit with
ease! Many of you know, spiralizing is huge at the moment, offering happy
eaters the option to easily swap out heavy carbohydrates for simple, fresh
spaghetti type vegetables, which is great with getting more of our five a
day into our diets.
Many of the machines however, that are available on the market are either
bulky, work top cluttering systems, often looking like something from the
80’s kitchen back catalogue, or even worse, exposed blades just crying
out for a missing fingertip!

Now, here’s where Morphy Richards have really cracked it, the Spiralizer
Express arrived on my door step a couple of days ago, I was instantly
aware of how perfectly sized and compact this machine was, it’s
incredibly modern design sits perfectly amongst my kitchen range, and the
fact that the parts pack away into its own food container, is
brilliant! It literally slides into the cupboard like a small granola box.
Don’t be confused by the size though, the container itself easily holds
a whole spiralized cucumber and courgette in one go! The simple one
touch operation is perfect, nothing is complicated and everything fits
together seamlessly with zero fuss, even the washing up was simple, the
two interchangeable blades (one for ribbon and one for spaghetti) are
easily swapped and a simple rinse under the tap will dislodge any of the
unused vegetables.

If you want to start creating super tasty, healthy meal options, try
swapping out your pasta for spiralized sweet potato or courgette, they are
super tasty, but be careful when cooking the vegetables, remember they're
NOT pasta, so they don’t need boiling for hours, simply add a small
amount of butter to a pan and cook for a minute or two, or eat raw in
salads, noodle dishes and Italian dishes. I recently created a version of
the Greek Salad, with my spirazlized option, have a look over on my
youtube channel to grab the recipe.
