The Boss Sage

If you are in the market for a new blender, stop here and have a little read through my tests on this genius bit of kit from Sage – Heston Blumenthal. This machine is built to last, its heavy, bulky and brutal to anything that gets thrown in it, which is exactly what you want from a blender. You don’t want to be shaking the machine to try and get everything to blend, you want hassle free, push button ease of use. I LOVE this machine, it’s been used to make smoothies, iced drinks, pulses, flour, nuts, herb blends, soups, cement! Everything.

Whilst I have not been lucky enough to try much stuff from Sage, I do have to give this item a 5* rating, it faults on nothing and even the higher end price bracket of between £420 – £490 doesn’t scare me away as I’d rather save, pay a little more and get something which won’t be superseded for many years.

Heres a few words on the science side of things, as this is Heston, you have to expect a little bit of scientific breakdown.

The Boss™ features a high velocity ProKinetix® blade and bowl system that  pulverises virtually any combination of ingredients. Creating up to 50% smaller particles than traditional blending. This super fine texture creates a smoother mouth feel than what traditional blenders have been able to achieve.

With one touch functions including the world’s first ‘Green Smoothie’ function and variable speeds ranging from a slow stir to a pulverising high speed mill. Now you too can enjoy the ‘finer’ things in life!

So, I can’t really praise this machine anymore than I already have, oh did I mention it also looks great?. It looks great!.
